When the leaves start changing it’s time to give the mountain bikes a break, glue up some tires and find the pain cave. So this weekend Wicked Wash Racing headed to Winchester to kick off the cyclocross properly. The dry grass course was fast, and the corners loose. The Belgian wall didn’t disappoint with an added turn at the top.
With seven folks kitted up and a few guest racers in the pit; the fun started even before the dew was off the grass. Andy, Adam and AJ lined up for the 4/5 race and put down stellar performance. Mary went next for the women’s 4 race and piloted her bike masterfully around the course. Kat hung on to a hard 3/4 women’s race for a great finish. Noah was consistent, working hard in a deep junior field. And Chris suffered his way to a podium spot! Congrats to everyone out there!
